The Award
The award goes to the iconic Londoner who young people feel deserves recognition for their role in promoting London positiviely on the world stage.
The young people of London were asked who they felt was the most iconic adult Londoner in terms of global achievement and recognition, who as a role model also embodied all that is good about our proud City.
The nominations came in from far and wide though our partnerships with The Sun, Choice FM and the social network site BEBO. One person gained so many votes that judging became a formality and tonight, on behalf of the young people of the City, this great icon of London will be presented with – The London Legend Award.
